- The 19th century was part of the Victorian era as Queen Victoria reigned from 1837 to 1901.

Here are some images of the interiors of houses that you expect to find in the Victorian era, for more wealthy people. They seem very spacious and over-crowded with luxuries. It is evident that candlesticks were significant although towards the end of the century, with the introduction of electricity, they became more decorative household items.
