The Laser Room is well under way in terms of development. I'm fairly happy with the quality of the Laser itself, although a few changes still need to be made to improve the quality of the render further. In particular, i still need to work on the texture for the gumballs to increase its sweet-like qualities. The wires and cables are a work in progress as well, as i'm still trying out new positions and angles for their placement, alongside working on a texture that reflects liquorice and sweet cables. The liquorice Texture is also something ive been working on, and i'm pretty confident i can get that nailed in the next couple of days. Other than that, improvements need to be made to texturing throughout the scene to make the sweets a more obvious element and to really convince the audience that this room was constructed by sweets.
The Meeting Room is still in its early stages, but progress is being made to make the most of what is a spacious but fairly empty room. The most important quality of this room will be to emphasise and sell the candy elements, as there won't be many objects to fill this scene. I'm working on creating an animated orrery made of lollipops to increase the interest in the scene, as well as redesigning the chairs, specifically the witch's chair, so that more candy and sweets can be included. Other than that, texturing also needs to be finalised and relevant graphics need to be added to the screens.
